Todd Koble
I'm Todd Koble, a Narrative Designer and Screenwriter. I've developed narrative-driven games and written numerous feature-length and short film screenplays.
I worked as the Head Writer and Project Lead for the indie game studio, Break Joint Games.
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Film with an Emphasis on Screenwriting.

Game Projects
Emergence: Hero Behind the Heroes
In Emergence: Hero Behind the Heroes, you are hired in a crisis by a superhero agency where you must match emergencies with specific heroes who can accomplish these missions.
My Duties included:

Creating character bios, stats, and names that are distinctive and heroic

Overseeing character designs to ensure they fit with each hero's niche characteristics

Writing every emergency the player interacts with

Conceiving the overall story and seeding a subplot throughout the playthrough that evolves into a climactic twist on the final day
The Second Apothic
In a medieval underground laboratory, you find that alchemy has wiped out its creators, and you must find another way to successfully concoct their apothic.
My Duties included:

Writing a mystery that allows the player to uncover the narrative in their own order, personalizing their experience

Mapping out the environment and creating each room's trials
-
3D Modelling the laboratory and its decorations
pASSED tHE fUTURE
People and technology from across space and time are pulled into the future to compete in a Grand Prix, with the prize being a return trip home.
My Duties include:

Writing a narrative experience where success on the race track uncovers hints of the overarching mystery

Concepting each track to portray the motifs of the time and place they are based on
-
3D Modelling every track, car, and character with distinct visual attributes
-
Animating characters expressively to portray their emotions and personality
-
Directing cutscenes that expand the world and are a reward for a player's victory
-
Acting as Project Lead by keeping open communication with our other developers to maintain a cohesive experience
Outside the Veil
Jason is granted power from beyond our world, giving him a second chance to prove himself and become extraordinary, but this comes with a price; the creators of this power want it back and Jason must confide in those who were once his enemies so that he may reclaim the life he once had.
